About the Role
A growing US-based cloud communications and SaaS technology company is looking for a Frontend Web Developer to join its Web Portal Engineering team. The company builds business-critical communication solutions, and as the platform expands, the engineering team is modernizing its customer-facing portal to improve scalability, security, and user experience.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building modern React applications, collaborating with backend and cloud engineers, and solving challenges around performance, analytics, and authentication.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain modern single-page applications (SPA) using React and related technologies.
- Develop reusable and scalable frontend components following engineering best practices.
- Help evolve a microfrontend (MFE) architecture to support a scalable web platform.
- Integrate analytics and user behavior tracking using tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Mixpanel.
- Work with cloud-hosted applications deployed on AWS.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate secure APIs and JWT authentication mechanisms.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous platform improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience developing modern web applications.
- Strong experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SPA development.
- Experience with Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures.
- Experience with analytics platforms (GTM, GA, and Mixpanel).
- Experience developing applications hosted on AWS.
- Good understanding of web application security, including JWT.
- Professional English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated frontend testing.
- Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
Working Hours
- Full-time, contract, long-term role
- Availability to work overlapping hours with the U.S. West Coast (Pacific Time).
